Zinc-Aluminum - Magnesium Alloy Coating Line
Zinc-Aluminum – Magnesium Alloy Coating Line
General Information
The hot-dip continuous galvanizing line (CGL), including zinc, zinc-magnesium, or zinc-aluminum alloy coating, is used to produce galvanized steel (GI), zinc-magnesium coated steel (ZM), and zinc-aluminum coated steel (GL).
Cold-rolled steel, after surface cleaning, is passed through an annealing furnace to adjust its mechanical properties according to customer requirements and to enhance adhesion with the coating layer. Next, the steel strip is coated with an alloy layer using the hot-dip method, then leveled, and finally covered with a protective layer (anti-fingerprint, oil, or chrome) to improve durability.
