Nearly 3,000 gift packages, including blankets and warm jackets, with a total value exceeding VND 1.33 billion, are being distributed by Ton Tay Nam to residents affected by severe flooding in the South Central provinces of Vietnam.

The program was launched in early December and is expected to be completed by December 31. Beyond the scale of the support provided, a key highlight of the initiative is Ton Tay Nam’s close collaboration with its local dealer network. Dealers have actively participated in organizing and distributing the gifts, creating a model of dealer engagement in corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts as communities gradually recover from the impacts of natural disasters.

According to representatives of Ton Tay Nam, the gift packages were carefully selected based on the actual needs of residents in flood-affected areas. From the end of the year through the early months of the following year, Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands experience their coldest weather conditions, while many households are still working to recover from the devastating impacts of storms and floods.
The blankets and warm jackets are intended to help residents protect their health, maintain stable daily living conditions, and create better opportunities to rebuild their lives. Durable and suitable for long-term use, these essential items also convey a heartfelt message of warmth, care, and solidarity from Ton Tay Nam to local communities.

Unlike emergency relief efforts that are typically concentrated during or immediately after a natural disaster, Ton Tay Nam’s initiative focuses on supporting long-term recovery and helping communities stabilize their daily lives. The program is designed to assist residents as they return to their normal routines while continuing to cope with ongoing hardships and shortages caused by the floods.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the recent flooding in the South Central region was considered an “extremely rare” event, breaking water-level records in several river basins that had stood for more than 50 years. Statistics from relevant authorities indicate that the floods caused significant losses to both lives and property, with thousands of homes destroyed or damaged across the South Central and Central Highlands regions.
To ensure the program’s effectiveness, Ton Tay Nam’s local dealers served as an extension of the company’s outreach efforts. They conducted field assessments, identified households most in need, and participated directly in the distribution of gift packages. Several dealers also continued supporting local residents in repairing and rebuilding homes damaged by the floods.

According to company representatives, this approach allows relief efforts to be tailored to the actual needs of each locality while further strengthening the partnership between the company and its dealer network through impactful community engagement activities.
