TAY NAM STEEL PRESENTS LUNAR NEW YEAR GIFTS TO DISADVANTAGED HOUSEHOLDS FOR THE YEAR OF BINH NGO 2026

With a spirit of solidarity and compassion, Tay Nam Steel continues to work alongside local authorities in supporting social welfare initiatives by providing meaningful Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households, as well as people with disabilities in My Le Commune, Tay Ninh Province, on the occasion of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

On the morning of February 6, 2026, in My Le Commune, Tay Nam Steel, in collaboration with the Commune Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, organized a Tet gift-giving program for poor households, near-poor households, and people with disabilities in the area. The initiative reflects the joint efforts of the company and local authorities to support community welfare and improve residents’ living conditions, especially during the Lunar New Year holiday.

At the program, the organizing committee personally presented 250 meaningful Tet gift packages, with a total value of nearly VND 100 million, to poor households, near-poor households, and people with disabilities. Each gift package included essential necessities and a cash envelope, helping beneficiaries enjoy a warmer and more joyful Lunar New Year celebration with their families and communities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Quoc Toan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Le Commune, acknowledged and highly appreciated the timely support provided by the business community to local social welfare efforts. He emphasized: “Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they carry the heartfelt care and concern of local authorities and sponsors for the community, helping ensure that everyone can enjoy a warm and joyful Tet holiday.”

He also affirmed the commune’s commitment to transparency and accountability in receiving and distributing support, ensuring that assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries and those most in need within the community.
